I am Debbie I was referred to this site by my Physical Therapist. I am basically at the beginning again. I had the band done in Dec 2005 - lost 90lbs but then had some difficulties with it. I am scheduled for Gastric Sleeve surgery/Revision December 31st. It is my goal this time to seek some level of support from other gastric patients. I didn't do that the first time and kind of went about it all on my own.

This is my last chance to really make a go of weight loss and I am more educated this time and more prepared to do the work it takes to be successful.

I think last time I thought the "Band" would do all the work...this time I KNOW it takes a lot of concentrated effort and knowledge on my part to make my dream come true and make this a success!

I am 54 yrs old. I am a spunky Grandmother of 8 and Mother of 3 and am married. I have full support from my husband.

It is my goal to lose 100lbs to be healthy and no more back problems.

Thank you for a safe place to talk and hear advice from others that have gone before me and perhaps I may be of help to those who come after me.
