I was brought up a "creationist" so I know a lot of them. I ask my mom questions now and most of her answers are "because god said" lol ..useless conversation lol ... -

I haven't scheduled yet. I got my psych eval last week also and the psychologist told me she'll have it written this week ..sooo hopefully tomorrow all of my stuff will be turned in to insurance. I was told to expect a date for late January early feb. Due to the holidays. .. and waiting on insurance approval. .. try to get ur psych eval and pcp letter out of the way so all u wont have to worry about it at the end. ..and thx! Ive been trying to get the ball rolling since April its been a loong road -

General surgeons have been performing total and partial gastrectomies for cancer patients and people w/digestive issues for decades....Why is the wls community telling everyone there is no long-term records of patients living w/ partial or no stomach at all???
-
I wonder about the stress reducing the stomach causes on other organs like gall bladder, pancreas, and liver.
-
Cool that reference is really helpful
-
This is true about the partial gastrectomies however I believe we have more info on vsg just from the collected data from other partial gastrectomies than lap band but it isnt marketed that way. VSG is kind of presented like they have absolutely no idea what complications might arise past 10 yrs.. but its not true. Lapband seems more like the experimental surgery. Sorry about your friend. ..I couldn't imagine not having a stomach...if I dumped after everything I ate id be miserable. .I wonder if a gtube would help idk.

Sorry that sucks ..im still preop so I dont have an answer. ...ibuprofen and blood thinners do exacerbate bleeding but two weeks is ridiculous

Oh Merry Xmas!

Cool good for you! Gives me hope, I would really love to date another free thinker/realist/humanist/atheist/agnostic lol or somewhere in there.. or a theologian!? just someone I can have an intelligent convo with about religion, history, humanity, science..most religious ppl dont know the books they live by well enough to have a decent discussion about religion ...
-
I think "militant atheist doctrine" is like "antitheism" ie. Christopher Hitchens ... As much of a Hitchens fan as I am ..I dont think id want to spend my social time with 30 Hitchens. .. lol
-
Cool glad u found your match.

If god invented pizza it would be poisonous.

Lol so glad to see this forum.

Lol... I think its the commercials ..if you pay attention to how they present food to us ..its like the are targeting an addicted audience. ..especially the pizza commercials
-
Oh cool ...I think the potential for conflict depends on how "religious" the religious person is.
