Hello, and welcome to the world of banding! I am also LDS and was banded in August. I live in Arizona and was banded in Mexico. I have had 2 fills and can tell I am almost ready for the 3rd. I guess there are more LDS bandsters out there than I thought. Good luck on your journey. Sheila

I was banded on 8/2/07 so I am just 1 day behind you. I am starting to feel hunger more often, but I live in fear that I will do damage if I eat too much so I am careful about what I eat. I continue to remind myself that we have no real restriction yet and must wait for 3 or 4 fills before we are really using the band as intended. In the meantime we will have to use our self control to develop good band eating habits and hopefully lose weight. Good luck to you and to all of us. Sheila

I have read numerous times that once we are banded we should not drink anything with our meals (and for a couple of hours after eating). However, I have yet to read why this is the case. I am curious and wondering if someone can fill me in on the answer. Thanks! Sheila

I was banded on August 2, 2007 by Dr. Kuri in TJ Mexico. So far I have no regrets. All is well. I look forward to this tool that will be my constant companion and a reminder that I am on a journey for life. Cheers to all the Crazy Ates out there! Sheila
