I know that this might sound corny but im so glad i was able to pass gas for the first time yesterday since surgery on Tuesday. I see his surgery kinda pushed a reset button on my body because on top of being sore, my cycle came back on this morning. I jusr went off my last cycle less than two weeks ago....uggghhh

I actually d I didn't have to do anything because my doctor dud my ekg, chest xray and blood work in order for me to get my clearance....i only had to get clearance from the hematologist because my hemoglobin was low so he only ordered an iron fusion to bring my blood up before surgery and that was it....pretty easy -

Actually somebody cancelled and i got lucky....i guess i will know something after tomorrow after the pre op appt and then that class afterwards....i still have 3 lbs to lose from now to surgery date.

I went to see the hematologist today and i got my clearance....friday they will do a cycle of iron infusions to bring my blood count up for surgery and im good!!!!! Oh and they moved my surgery date from June 16to the 3rd....im so numb right now

Did anyone have problems with being anemic less than a month before surgery? Is there anything that can be done about this before surgery? Will this stop me from having my surgery? My doctor will not give me clearance till i clear with hematology on tuesday, my pre op is the day after on that wednesday.

Only problem is, my surgery is in almodt two weeks actually on june 16 and they are just now sending me to a hematologist....i cant get clearance from my primary care till i clear with hematology and my pre op apptmnt is on Wednesday day and the hematologist appt is tuesday....smh....uggh -
My surgery date is June this 16 however my doctor will not give me a clearance because my blood is low. will anemia keep me from having my syrgery?Mood:pissed .He referred me to a hematologist for clearance.
