  1. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Nutrition Facts For Foods Hi - my surgery was Dec. 17. I came home on Dec. 18 in the afternoon, and immediately thought "What have I done to myself?!?" The pain was a big part, but not being able to get comfortable was an issue, too. I did not know that I would have pain in my left shoulder for over a week - I still don't know what that was about. People told me that surgery was the easy way to lose weight. I chose the sleeve because I don't want diabetes or other health problems that run in my family. As I tried every other way on the planet (sensa, atkins, weight watchers, jenny craig, you name it) I decided to give this a go. This is not the easy way to lose weight. I hope it will work for me in the long run, but it is NOT easy! Having said all of that negativity, I started my journey at 225 lbs. To get certified by my insurance company, I had to gain 10 lbs and keep it on for 5 months. A few weeks before surgery, I was able to lose 5 pounds. I went into surgery at 230.4 I am currently stalled at 215.9. I am still on the liquid part of the diet and am exercising daily. I walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes at a time and reach 1.25 miles. I know this is slow, but it is better than nothing. I usually walk three times a day, depending on if my feet hurt. I did the math yesterday on all that I drank, and came up with 765 calories. Somewhere I heard that 700 is the number of calories I am supposed to be at right now. So today, I am making sure that I do not exceed the 700 number. This is the third day I have been stalled at 215.9, and I am getting extremely frustrated. Add that to the fact that my hunger NEVER WENT AWAY, and I am a very cranky person. Anyone know what is going on?
