Hello, my name is Stephanie. I'm 29 years old. I have been doing my research for about a year now on weight loss surgery. I brought the idea up to my primary physician a year ago and she pretty much laughed in my face. So I came up with a plan to get as much information as I could and come to her prepared. November 2013 I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and also had a fatty liver. I came back to her and expressed why I felt I needed this surgery. This time she gave her approval and gave the the ok to proceed with a surgeon. February I went to the seminar in Syracuse and on June 9th 2014 I will be having the Gastric Sleeve done. I chose the sleeve because of my age, weight, and also because of the nutrition. I am beyond happy to get my health back and be a better role model to my beautiful daughter Liliana. Heaviest weight ever= 260. Weight before pre op diet= 250. Current weight= 242.5 started the pre op diet on Monday the 2nd of June 2014. Goal weight = 160
