I am just starting out.
I have completed the requirements for my insurance with a clinic here between Galveston & Houston.
My insurance has approved Gastric Surgery (Sleeve) and my surgeon is ready for February.
I have been doing my homework on the procedure and my cold feet seem to stem more from where/who is doing the procedure and what kind of support I feel that I will need. So I'm joining Bariatric Pal to see what others experiences have been, what they have found helpful so that I can gauge if the what my clinic is offering is on par.
I am the married mother of an only child and I am terrified of making a wrong choice that could leave
her without a parent - either by complications from a surgery like this or by not doing anything to change my life so I can be there with her.
