I can't seem to quote your quoted quote... No, silly - not alcoholics anonymous - american airlines (something special in the air my ass....) The spa is across from A23. Next time you fly out of DFW, give it a whirl - it's a great way to relax after dealing with ticket counters, security, and the other dumb-asses who mess up the general travel experience... And yes, you're Hottie McHottie also! Sweet Dreams! B

Hey gang, been on a plane (or at an airport) all freaking day.... My hotel doesn't have room service, and now I can't sleep. Wah! Wah! Wah! J - Great pic - you look sooo awesome (Hottie McHottie, too!). Congrats on the run as well! Share the Soup recipes... BG - Ouch on the "massage". I got a massage at the airport today (new spa next to the AA club). Holy shmoly that felt good. Also got higher than a freaking kite from all the Acetone in the air (they do manicures & pedicures). HP - Glad to see you checking in. Hope school is going well. Keep stopping in when you have time. JC - Same story - how are you healing from surgery? TX - I drove the short bus for a summer once.... yeah - probably wouldn't listen to that either... The wife rags on me, cause my favorite music is sinatra, bobby darin, stuff like that - don't listen to it much, but I think I was a lounge singer in another life. B

about the only genre of music that i don't listen to much is grunge.

Not at all - I want a nice, long, varied career of doing, with some teaching (really just boring the young whippersnappers with stories from my youth) in early retirement...

Too funny - my ultimate fantasy job is university professor :cursing: B

J - Thanks - the job seemed pretty cool. It'll use my talents and skills, just in a different manner than I'm used to, so it'll be a little stretch at first. I've worked for the same company for almost 12 years, and on the same account for 11 years. It's scary to think about leaving - outside of my wife and fellow bicylers, the people that I care most are the people I work with - and I've known them much longer than the wife or bicylers. It is time to move on, though. I've reached the pinnacle of my career there, and there are other things I want to accomplish in life. The possible position in Chi-town is a tactical move that detours me from returning to Boston, but strategically sets me up for a set of challenging career options anywhere in the world for as long and far as I want to keep moving. Hope that the paper went well. TX - Ouch! And too funny on the MILF comment... B
-
Thanks! I think it went well - but we'll have to see. The job's not officially open to external candidates yet, so there will be a few week wait before we can go any further. I'm hopeful, though. TX - as soon as things settle down with the dog some more, we'll plan on riding together... B

Thanks J & McHottie (see, sometimes you do get what you ask for). I can use all the Juju you can send... I guess with 28min to go, i should start to get prepared... B

Interview for the Chi-Town gig Tuesday AM. Hopefully, it will pan out. Will let ya know what I find out... B

TX - New Name? Yep - did our HHH back in the early 90's. Was much younger and in better shape, but I'm hoping to be back in for this year. Although their HHH sounds a little less brutal (although I'm not sure what the trade is between flat & brutally hot versus hilly & not so much...) W - Congrats on the 10K run! B
-
Hey BG - you are Hottie McHottie there! Congratulations, you are doing soooo incredible. B
-
BG - That's a great note. You are soo awesome! Happy Bandiversary! 6600 kcal in the cake - that's enough to make me pb on gp... B
