    I'm starting a two week liquid diet tomorrow that will last me up until my first weigh in. I'm nervous too about being around all the food and not having it. Food smell is probably the toughest for me. I have a strong sense of smell. But, we can do this... one step at a time. Good luck!!!

    Hi, my name is Rob and I'm addicted to food. I'm restarting this journey to weight loss surgery. I have my first weigh in on July 14th and hope to be down 10 pounds from where I am at now. This has been a long, hard, emotional journey and I need it to start going in the right direction.

    I'm ready to re-visit the surgery. I don't think I can do this weight loss on my own. I've gained so much weight. :(

      You're not alone. My doctor talked to me about it in 2011 and I wasn't ready. After dieting on my own for a year and losing only 25 lbs. I was ready. After being banded a year ago, I've lost 115 lbs. so yes...this was the right thing for me to do.

      I was at the same place over 2 years ago. I could not afford another failed attempt, it had to come off, my life depended on it. I made the call...I was right.

    My surgery has been cancelled. My doctor doesn't accept my insurance. He does with everything else but bariatrics. Crushed.

    February 3rd!! Only 5 short weeks away and life changes forever! Sweet! Well, as long as my diverticulitis doesn't act up, I'll be getting the VSG! If it acts up, diverticulitis surgery first! Fingers crossed!!
