I didn't do pre op diet. I was scheduled to have surgery on the 21st of January and I was starting college on the 13th, so I declined surgery date. I did not want to encounter any complications after surgery and have to miss class, since I'm in my final semester. I spoke with doctor and he advised that I would not do pre op diet, and just have surgery on the 7th -

Saw doctor today and down 54 lbs in 1 month 18 days..... Best feeling in the world!!!! -
How is everyone doing? Had doctors appointment today and down 54 lbs in 1 month 18 days!!!! It was a great feeling getting on that scale!!!

It was an awesome feeling!!! Have to say that I have encountered very little problems, just very frustrated with protein drinks and that I cannot have anything else. I'm waiting on phase 2 so I can start the purée foods, if anyone may please share some good purée recipes, I would greatly appreciate it.

I saw doctor yesterday for 1st follow up after surgery. It was an awesome day!!! 18 lbs lighter 8 days after surgery!! Boy, is that a motivator!!!!!

Today is day 4 post op. Doing pretty good. Not too too bloated, but still feeling a little. I need some ideas on some protein shakes, or just something to drink. These drinks, and texture are getting old pretty quick. Would love any thoughts, and/or ideas

That protein shake sounds pretty darn good. Where can I get me some of that? I'm only having that bland chocolate flavored drink and it's time for a change!!

I am not getting hungry at all, but manage to eat a little something now and then throughout the day. Doing broth with a protein drink, in conjunction with some flavored water. Feeling a little discomfort from largest incision, but pain is very minimal...

Thank you!! Surgery went well and It seemed like I was done in a split second. I'm a little sore and feel very bloated. I've started walking in hallway to alleviate some of the bloating. I'm in Texas as well... Had surgery in downtown San Antonio

Tomorrow is the big day!! I get sleeved at 4pm.... Drastic changes to lifestyle and eating habits is the biggest fear... Let's do this....I start school on the 13th and in my last semester to get engineering degree.....I hope all goes well and I don't encounter any problems !!!
