I'm in San Antonio!. I was banded 12-20-13. I have lost a total of 30 lbs so far without a fill. I definitely could use a banded buddy also to help me keep on track as well.

Maybe I am wierd but I was able to eat semi solid foods after a week. My doctor told me as long as I could handle it it was alright. I know I am still not in my green zone though because even though I do eat smaller portions(about 1/3 of what I used to eat) I feel hungry again after a few hours. So in 3 weeks I am going to ask for a slight fill. My surgery was on the 20th, and I can eat most semi solid foods with no problem, and no sick feeling. I felt like I was doing something wrong but my surgeon said I was doing just fine. I have lost 5lbs this week mostly on portion control, and eating foods without sugars alone. I am hoping my next fill ( I only have 2cc's in my band now) of another 2-3cc's will put me in my green zone.
