I just check my surgeon, and he has similarly bad reviews. It was a center of excellence. He was wonderful, the hospital was the best, even the staff that cleaned my room offered to go get me a Popsicle or drink. They were absolutely the best. For whatever it is worth. -

I used eBay a few years ago, and got some very good things in a lot sale. Some of which I am wearing again. This time I didn't see much. Tradesy looked interesting because the price includes shipping and you can return items. There us a restocking fee, but getting something back is better than nothing. Basically, I can make my own lot. I may give it a whirl. The selling looks interesting also, for someone like me that doesn't want the hassles of eBay or consignment. Again, there are fees, but so convenient. I mean, they have to make money too. I think it would be more than what I could get from a garage sale. Not interesting in selling. I am saving all my clothes to give my sister. Hopefully she will be getting sleeve surgery next year. -
I saw this website and app for Tradesy.com. Looks interesting. Would love to hear if anyone has used and any experiences - good/bad. Thanks!

Imitex made me sleep. I had good luck with Maxalt. They have one that melts under your tongue. They also now have a generic which makes it cheaper. -

How do you keep track of Protein if you don't measure anything? Just curious... My nut told us to measure by volume not by weight. I use a small glass cup, similar to a large shot glass, with ounces marked on the side. Goes to 5 ounces, got at Walmart for a couple of bucks. They are made by Anchor Hocking. I got 3 of them. -

I think it was the surgery for me. The protein drinks I was drinking before surgery tasted so sweet I couldn't stand them post surgery. -

The scale is finicky! I am almost three months and I refuse to ever call it a 'stall'. I think it is just how our bodies work! I have noticed that when the scale is steady or even if it has gone up, I am still getting smaller! Could be Water retention, or a liitle backed up in the bm dept., or the moon phase (lol). I am still shopping in my closet for smaller clothes. I also bought the next size down of underwear to go to. If the scale has been steady for a few days, that is when I will try on something that used to be tight and it will fit! I know a lot of people put the scale away or only weigh weekly. I actually weigh myself every morning! I will weigh a second time if I have a bm Once I see a lower weight, that is the number until I see it go lower. In other words, to maintain my sanity, I only count the downs not the ups! If the scale does move up, and it does, I ignore it because it is going to go down as long as I am following the program!! If weighing once a week works for you, great. My husband is adamant about only weighing one a week and thinks my way is nuts. If you are like me and need that instant gratification and weigh daily, you may need to measure inches or judge by clothing fit when the scale is misleading you. -

I had no issues with gall bladder surgery, so I am no help. Sorry.
-
I had gall bladder removed in 2005, and sleeve in March. No issues. I have heard a number of people need gall bladder removed after surgery due to rapid weight loss causing gall stones, so I was glad that I didn't have to worry about that. I had read many posts about issues with the gas pain due to the air they pump in your abdomen for the surgery. My thinking is they would have done something similar for the gall bladder surgery and I didn't remember any issues with trapped gas, and I didn't have any problems with the sleeve surgery with gas. Except for the additional issues with drinking and eating, my pain levels and recovery were very similar to the gall bladder surgery.

A cheap Taco Bell meal for me is pintos and cheese and one taco. I dump the taco stuffing on top of the pintos and toss the shell or tortilla. I order a soft taco since I am less likely to want the flour tortilla. Wendy's has a kids meal with grilled chicken wrap (I pitch the tortilla), apples instead of fries and low fat milk. Chick Fil A has grilled chicken nuggets.
