and Protein shake and greek yogurt for BK and pretty much the same for lunch and dinner and yes SF jello, pudding etc.. but my issue is I don't eat 3 meals a day I am a meal skipper and I am just barely getting liquids (water) in 4 to 5 bottles seems like too much and I am full time mother and student. I can barely remember to do my homework let alone be eating all day. IDK I have a week to practice til my pre-op liquid diet.

I gained weight and was approved. After the 3rd month I gained weight, the first two months a total loss of 7 lbs. Do not give up I will tell you what I told myself "Let Go and Let GOD"

Hello, My surgery is Feb 5th and I am in MD and surgery will be in DC.

This was funny because that day she called to let me know she was submitting my papers while i was on the phone and 3 days later I was approved and my surgery date is Feb 5

I too have dreads just started not even a yr out but i believe it was one of the best decision i made with my hair.

I am also in MD and I will be having my surgery with Dr. John Brebbia at WHC in DC. Day of surgery Feb 5

I am also a single mother on medicaid, i am also a full time college student and Monday my papers were submitted to UHC Community Plan through MD Medicaid and Thursday I was approved, so even though it looks bleak finish and even if (praying it does) go well Never Give Up.

I received a call today from the hospital regarding my approval or denial so this is how our conversation went Me:Hello Her: Hi, Can I speak with Ashley please Me: This is she Her: This is Mary from Bariatrics Me: Hi, How are you? Her: I am fine I was calling to schedule your surgery because your insurance APPROVED the surgery. Me: OMGoodness are you serious ? Her: Yes, How is Feb 5th Me: YES, are you serious? So I have been screaming at the top of my lungs since she called and told me... I would not be here or would have achieved any of my goals with out GOD, HE has been my ROCK and my SUPPORTER, HE has seen me through it all and I THANK HIM

Keep your faith, i was just talking to my sister in law who is also my BF and number one supporter and I told her how my conversations went with God and she laughed because I went back and forth with begging to.pleading to lettingbit go and back again. I am praying for you because i know the feeling. i was also shocked that it only took 3 days for an approval. My fav saying is Let Go and Let God. Never give up, your health is worth the fight

So I got a call from the Hospital telling me that they are finally going to submit my papers to the insurance company. Well about time.... Kinda, because now I am feeling Anxious and Scared and Nervous and Terrified. I have placed all of this, my concerns and everything into God's hands because I know and understand that I can not handle this by myself. Long story short, Things just don't fall in place for me and this seems to be falling in place the way it is suppose to without the fight and struggle I am use to so to me it seems to be a set up for disaster... this is why I am so concerned and scared.... Sorry for venting my family do not seem interested right now...

I've been where you are. I had to fighy to get my approval but with GOD all this are possible to those who believe. If u have given it to him, leave it there and let him do it. Trust me he will do it. He did it for me and I know he will do it for you!! Keep the faith and DONT DOUBT HIM!!! Please keep me informed and if u need to talk message me. Im all ears!!
