my surgery date was 12/11, and I felt better yesterday than I do today. I'm trying to take it easy on myself, but I'm not used to feeling this week. This morning I took the omeprazole by pill, and I feel like its stuck in my esophagus. I have sipped Water and tea and broth, and its still there. I am also getting the hiccups about every hour or so, and they are pretty painful. I have lots of gas but no bowel movement yet- though I haven't eaten anything substantial for 5 days...... I am very thankful to have found this blog. It has already answered quite a few of my questions. Good luck to everyone!
