  1. Been off the grid for a while. I found that the more time I spent on here the mire I thought about weight and stalls and food. So..I been out living life working out lots and taking on new endeavours at my job..I have my 4 month appointment on Monday and mu total weight loss is right at 70 lbs today. I'm very happy and it feels that much more rewarding knowing that my hard work at the gym is contributing.. I have minimal loose skin in my very upper thighs and very upper arms...I've combatted the stretch marks with Bio oil and Palmer's lotion (the one with the pregnant lady on the front) Over the last 4 weeks or so I've started to loose some hair not loads not clumps but.. Idk..a dozen entire strands or so with each shower ...I think its slowing down now.. What else..OH! I was getting the free protien shakes from insure nutrition UNTIL I found out they were billing my insurance as out if network providers who were not covered ..so I canceled..got to keep the shakes and the check my insurance company sent me from my USA to pay insure nutrition..so..look out for that :-( Pictures to follow soon! Hope everyone is doing great!

    Stalling

    It will pass;-) I promise...it happens to so many of us around 2-3 weeks...once your body realizes your not gonna starve it to death it will relax and start letting go of the weight again..I considered a liquid diet again at that stage....and then..just like that...the scale started moving again..hang in there!

    Super Active Exercisers

    I work out quite a bit..and I always have at least one shake a day...also increase your water by at least one serving on your workout days....if you are feeling dizzy or fatigued maybe add some healthy Carb/protien..like almonds or pistachios..avacado with salt and pepper has healthy fat and a couple times I had a few apple slices dunked in smart Balance peanut butter...another thing is.. sometimes when I take a few days off from the gym and just rest ..I see the scale drop pretty quick... weird but true..sometimes you just need a break;-)

    Hungry

    I get hungry..I have to kinda make a deal with myself like.. okay...once you finish this bottle of water...wait 30 min...if your still hungry...eat...put another bottle of water in the freezer...in 30 min its nice and cold....repeat!..lol...it works for me to get my liquids in as well as waiting 30 min before and after eating/drinking rule...
  6. I've been off the grid here for a couple weeks with work and bad weather and family here from out of town..but...wanted to check in. Today I weighed in @243. I was sleeved on December 20th and my beginning weight was 302. I feel good..normal I dare say. I've hit two stalls so far and its really a mystery to me why having a treat and stopping the hardcore workouts has got me out of both of them. But...59 lbs in 3 mos and went from size 22/2x shirts down to 16/L shirts.I'm happy with that. This Saturday I'm doing the 5k color run...HUGE deal for me as since having this survey is the first time in my life I've ever been able to run a mile..(I got emotional and goosbumps the first time I made it..lol). So..its bedtime...let me know how you guys are doing;-)

    I would think they'd be able to find out what's up...but just to be on the safe side maybe continue your shakes..and vitamins. I slacked on my multivitamins this last month and noticed lots of hair in my brush e eryday for abt a week now...lol..that scare ne straight into the kitchen for my vitamins! ! Good luck, keep me posted:-)

I recently posted a full body pic of myself before a business meeting to my Facebook..I've got a bunch of private messages asking me how I lost "the weight" why do I feel proud and surprised and offended at the same time? Like..they weeny supposed to notice how big I was to begin with..and..I feel like I pretty much look the same..plus these are property I don't see or talk to and suddenly want to know my secret..

    No pastas or breads?

    I never do bread or pasta but I do buy low Carb tortilla /wraps..I might I have one or two a week with eggs and Turkey sausage inside...or ill make it crispy in the skillet and put low fat cheese in there and have a quesadilla..the wrap itself has 9 carbs..not horrible but not for everyday;-)

  11. And their reaction was a surprise..to me I look very similar to pre-op..so I wasn't expecting the weight loss inquiries..maybe I need a reality check! LOL

My reaction I think was wanting to keep it private from people who don't even talk to me on a regular basis or been on my Facebook for years and never spoke before..lol..there are people on my face book who know about the surgery who knew well enough to keep it to themselves as well so im grateful for those friends who stick with a "keep up the good work!"

    I was told nothing with seeds during my soft food stage...so I can't have berries or tomatoes or cucumbers/pickles unless I scoop out the seeds

So..when I have a BM it tends to be accompanied by a clear/ whitesuper slippery slime...I thought that was the slime I've seen referred to on post subjects..now that I've read one I know that's not the slime you all were referring to...I would like to think its melted fat making its way out?.. again.. Sorry..mortified...but.. Whatevv...lol

Yup clear Slippy..no pain or cramping just happen to notice while cleaning up and once when I tried to go and couldn't..still had to clean :-0..I tolerate milk fine.I do premier protien and I have some powder as well that I use sometimes..I mix that with light soy milk..no probly there either...

    Exercising?

    Anything to get to your target heart rate ...as long as you're in that range your burning fat and calories...mine is 150 according to the trainer at my gym..everybody is different depending on age and weight ..good luck and start out slow;-)

  20. Sometimes I feel like I'm loosing some restriction..and sometimes I feel pretty hungry..kinda new to me so I thought id reach out to those who are at my same stage or recently went through it...is the honeymoon over?

Yea..Tiffany..you can and probably will..bur obviously shouldn't..on Superbowl Sunday I had some tortilla chips..like 5...other than thatI have to stay away from them because like others have said..they do not make me full. Idk abt frozen yogurt..I have sugar free pudding pops for when my cycle comes...I eat them sparingly..
  22. Just an update..not really hungry at all today ..had a shake and been sipping my water...I think I was just completely out of my element..and possibly was mistaking my thirst for hunger..because now that I think about it I had only got a few oz of water in during my afternoon ..

I had a businesses lunch yesterday and I barely ate because I was full quick but then the meetings lasted all day and I had over and hour drive home..half way home I stopped and got a chili cheese burrito from taco bell..I started by just kinda slurping out the insides to take the edge off..but then ended up eating the whole thing:-0...within a couple hours of getting home I finished my leftover salmon and mashed potatoes from the lunch and before bed I had a protien bar...felt guilty and disgusting but I was never full..and honestly..hungry while I was eating..hopefully just a freak occurance because the meetings went so long but I'm gonna do liquids for a couple days just in hopes of the reset button ..
