It's been 7 months since my surgery. The team at ALM were excellent. This surgery has changed my life! I was 240 at the beginning now I am 172 (15 pounds from my goal) off the blood pressure meds and no longer pre-diabetic... Plus I feel amazing! Best decision ever! -
172-174 for 3 months. 20 more would be great but this might be it.

you look amazing!

Whatever it takes to get you through lol. Just Keep it up

I am.surgery dare was 2/28. My appetite has been crazy for the past 2 weeks. And my weight has come to a screeching halt at the 60 pound mark.

This was happen into me at the 3-4 week post op mark even after I ate. I did what you aren't supposed to and just ate a packet of salt because I was at work and could not sleep it off, since then I avoid that by drinking Gatorade regularly to avoid severe drops in my electrolyte levels and I monitor my blood pressure constantly. No issues since then. Good luck to you!

Thank you. Congratulations to you! To be honest with you, I ended up losing the first 60lbs+ very fast. I did not think I would lose it so fast considering my starting BMI, but my tolerance for most foods is not as good as most other folks. Which means my diet is very limited ( I still have at least 2 protein shakes daily and still soft foods) . So far, I've hit only one real stall which was at the two week postop mark, but ever since then, the pounds melt away. It is jarring sometimes, and I even find myself doing things to purposely slow it down and it's working, because I only lost 3 pounds last week. I'm trying to convince myself that if I lose weight slower, I won't have to deal with loose skin later on. Lol... Probably a total myth but I really want to avoid another surgery (skin) Some days I have so much energy, and there are other days where I really just relax and take it easy because my energy level is low. You feel great and you're losing steadily so it seems like you are doing very well. As you probably well know everybody is going to be losing at a different pace. Keep up the good work

February 2014 Mexico Sleevers!

Has anyone notice how essential the lack of having a Dr. follow-up has been? During my three months since surgery, they have been times when I've had issues like extremely low blood pressure which I'm guessing comes from dehydration, painful digestion, I can't even eat half of the food I'm supposed to be able to eat at this point and a bunch of other issues. Don't get me wrong I am still super happy with my sleeve and my surgery in Mexico, but I wish there was more follow-up support state side. -
