I am with you! I have lost 75 lbs in 5months and am 42. I have been heavy my entire life and that also plays a huge part in if you have a lot of hangy skin. I look like I am melting. I am also single and would like to date without being embarrassed to get neked! I have about 30-40 lbs to go but everything is saggy now. I am planning on having the full package... legs, abdomen, upper arms and some snazzy new boobs. Lol. I saw it runs around 20 grand but my theory is this.... id pay that much for a new car im only going to keep5 years. It is worth it to me cuz this will be forever!

Do you normally have heartburn? I havent had any problems with that, but I never have before either. Are all the meds for post op? Or was the colonic for prior to surgery?

Changing surgeons post op? Long story...mean surgeon.

That sucks... your surgeon is a total DB! The thing about a good surgeon is..., I love to see my doc because he is always so positive and excited for me! It makes me want to do oore, exercise longer, etc because I know when I see him he will just be so thrilled! I wish you lived in CO so you could see my guy! Everyone is different and a good surgeon KNOWS that! You can fire him and hire a new doc! Another doc will see you no problem and they probably know what kind of a jerk he is. Its a small community! You are doing great! Keep up the hard work!! -
Which Bariatric vitamins, minerals and other dietary supplements do YOU take ?
witty2cute replied to Alex Brecher's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I take Nature Plus multi vitamin 2x a day, B12 sublingual from GNC and I do a liquid calcium with vitamin D called Wellesse that I buy at walmart. I take 1 oz 2x a day and it is orange cream flavored and tastes like a creamsicle! I dont go back for labwork until 6 months so not sure if I will need anything else. -
I never took any colon cleanser. I was on clear liquids only the 3 days prior to my surgery and that was it. work in the medical field and if you need a colon cleanser mag cit will work great. I left the hospital with an OnQ pain pump. I only got nauseas 2x and it came and went so fast I never even had a chance to use my anti nausea meds. I also took only 2 of the 40 vicodin he gave me. Not sure what else he prescribed that you will need 5. I cant tell you that you wont need them as we are all different but in my experience I didnt need them at all! Good luck!

Top Secret: Who did you tell?
witty2cute replied to w8loser's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I told my family and some close friends before hand. They were all very supportive. I didn't tell any ofmy coworkers except the one I spend the most time with. I do overnights at a hospital in Cat Scan. But afterwards I ended up telling most people I see in a daily basis, I.e. my coworkers. It is hard to explain the rapid weight loss after being off work a couple of weeks. Honestly, everyone has been very supportive. I hurt my backin 2012 and ended up having major surgery so everyone is very happy that ia, feeling even better! I think it sucks that your family isnt supportive but you need to do what is right for you. Dont worry about what anyone else thinks because no one else lives your life! You will feel so much better and that will be the proof your family needs!
