Hi All You Awesome Sept Banders To Date!!! ' We have so many sept banders I think we will call ourselves the class of Sept 2007!!ha Once we get all our sept classmates on board I want to put a challenge out there that we will all work out either walk, bike, swim ect for 30 minutes a day and track our weight loss for the month of oct and see if we are the biggest losers!! Lets everyone send me there weight on Oct 1 and than again Oct 31 and lets see how much we lose!!!!!???? Are you up for the challenge??? Keep up the awesome work and for those of you still waiting to be banded this month good luck it is a piece of cake!!!!

YEs!!!! I was banded 9-14 and the pain is from all the gas they pump in your tummy. Yes you will be sore for a few days. Try walking but what keeps helping me is a heating pad try that as well. It will get better real soon!! Look forward to hearing from you!!!

Well today is the first day I actually felt like going out and getting a few things accomplished!. The first couple days it was very painful where they give you the heperin shot in the tummy but soon found out a heating pad helped that. Just really having a difficult time trying to sleep. Alot of gas in the shoulder blades and gas in general. I am not taking any of the pain med because I do not want to vomit so I am toughing it out. Last night I can say that I had a nice sllep till about 2am but hey I'll take it!! My back gets sore from laying on it so I have been trying to do the walking but have been pretty tired. Trying to build up and take in all my fluids. I have taken all the bandages off and have around 15-20 staples they do not hurt though. I may have a few more because of the removal of my gall bladder at the same time. My next doctor appt is Sept 24 (10 days post op) to have the staples out. Will let you know my weight loss at that visit!!:whoo:

HI Just was banded and gall bladder romoved on Sept 14. Doing ok a little tired but not sure from the band or gallbladder!! Keep up the great job!!

Well is is 3am on the 14th and I have been awake since 1 am. I have never been so thirsty knowing that I can't have anything to drink !! What a head case! I am feeling really positive about this whole procedure, I have made a committment to myself that I will have this 80 pounds off by my 50th birthday!! I am going to work really hard at the whole exercise program as well. I am also having my gall bladder out tomorrow at the same time and will update you on how that went as well. The web sites and chat rooms have helped me out greatly. EVERYONE has been awesome so positive and supportive!!! I am also a self pay so that is even more reason to make this tool work for me. The one positive thing I have going is that I am not a sweet eater only a volume eater so I am hoping that this will make my journey a bit easier. Will let you know how I make out. HAPPY LOSING TO EVERYONE!!!:whoo:

Hi Wildcat Are you sore? I just got home from my shopping for the Soups ect!! How much has your husband lost!!!!!Great for you to. I will also have my gall bladder taken out at the same time!! I am happpy to br having this donethough!!

HI I also have gall stones and they will be taking my gall blatter out the same time they put the band in! Two for the price of one!ha My surgery is a week from friday and I am very excited about it but also a little nervous. When do you think you can now have the band, check and see if your dr can do them at the same time!! Let me know Itstime!!
