These were too small before surgery. I think it is time to downsize LOL

I have said that after 5 months I sometimes forget I have had surgery because I am so into the routine of what I eat but I guess I forgot yesterday. I fixed a peach, small pieces and a small amount of cottage cheese. I was sitting at the table and TALKING to my husband while I ate and about half way through I got an awful pain but could not pinpoint exactly where it was. I stopped eating. Then for about the next 15 minutes I had that salivating feeling we get before we throw up, I was unsuccessful in doing so but I knew something was stuck so I finally made myself throw up and was shocked to see it looked like a raw egg dropped in Water, just a small pc of peach and lots of slime. I googled it and read this was "foamies" because something had stuck and my esophagus was producing lots of saliva to get it moved. It took about another hour for the pain to go away after that but you can bet your sweet bippy I will be more careful. All this time I have been so fortunate to have none of this, even after eating meat, and no nausea or vomiting at all. Consider this a friendly reminder that we have had our guts rearranged!!

I don't think the coconut oil would be a problem. My doctor did tell me he had a patient who ate too much coconut and had to be "cleaned out".

I still don't eat many vegetables. My doctor warned me that broccoli stems and cauliflower stems could hang, so if I eat those at all, I make sure they are cooked. I still haven't tried salad. I keep my meals pretty simple and sure learned from that one time incident.....

I bought a bunch of this and then found out that I need Calcium Citrate. I will ship it anyone who is interested and can pay me via Paypal. If interested, let me know and I will give details (Calcium Caltrate Chewables)

So I had never looked at myself from behind, since wt loss I was only looking at my flat tummy that reappeared from my 2005 tummy tuck. We are on vacation and they have a huge mirror in the bathroom at the resort. Last night I saw myself from the back and I look like a deflated blow up doll! LOL. My butt is sagging and all wrinkled at the base of my legs......gee and the doc wants me to lose 60 more pounds!!! I already knew I have sock boobs and skin hanging under my arms but I was so shocked to see my sagging butt. I guess I will have to live with it because I would need a full body lift and cannot afford that, don't get me wrong, I would not want to fill all the skin up with fat again, but spanx will love me when I reach my goal!!!

good description. LOL. I don't know if anything can tighten this 60 yr old butt

Hi Gingersnaps, Yes, hot again. but thank God I am about ten degrees cooler than Tucson. We are going to San Diego for a week starting Friday so it will be cooler and I will also have access to a pool. I weighed this morning and the scale finally moved a little. It is true that sometimes we just need to listen to our bodies and let them rest a bit. I see you are doing well..congrats.......thanks for the encouragement

I am almost 5 months post op and have done very well but have been in a rut for the past two weeks playing with the same two pounds. I am not in a "stall", I am in a "rut". Because of muscle spasms from Fibromyalgia, I have been unable to ride my bike for a couple of weeks and taking Tylenol for them just does not cut it. If I try and over do, then I am incapacitated for several days. I know that if I could get the exercise on, the results would be there. I am depressed and have always said a "rut is just a grave with both ends kicked out!". I am drinking plenty of water, it is HOT in the desert and I am getting my protein, maybe I just have to ride this out......until my body says I can exercise again. I have not been sedentary, quite the contrary, I just cannot do my heavy exercising......................

That's what I did when I went to PT. It is a 42 mile drive one way and I have to pay to use the pool. It WAS great though.
