I am on the pre op diet and I put my bottled shake in my Bullit with ice and blend it, you can put your vitamins in that and blend as well. -

Welcome. I am on the 26th. I am getting anxious too. I had lost a lot of wt after my first husband was killed in 2003 so in 2005 I had a full tummy tuck and muscle repair with lipo. The Bypass surgeon told me this would be a pc of cake compared to that, so I just keep reminding myself of that. BTW, the wt didnt come back there either!!

Patti have you ever had a colonoscopy? If not I can tell you that it is not likely that you will be able to work after you start your prep!!!

What was the reason YOU chose bypass instead of sleeve? For me, Tricare will not pay for the sleeve.

My cousin had surgery, sleeve, Sept 19 and has lost 76 lbs but she has stuck to it stringently

Someone here, I think zoefruitcake, is going the 19th and me the 26th. My cousin had the sleeve in Sept and told me that for the first 2 days I will regret it but after that it is downhill.

Zoefruitcake, is your surgery on the 26th? Mine is at 9:30 that day and I have to be ther at 7:30. I live far from the hospital so am spending the night at a hotel. I feel like you do.. "Am I REALLY doing this?"

I am scheduled for 2 weeks, Feb 26. I started my pre iop diet today. I think I may starve! LOL. If you had to do a protein shake pre op, what kind did you use???
