Nov 2013 Sleevers Progress So Far...

11-18 surgery HW 237 SW 220 CW 184 GW 145 I know the closer I get to my goal, the slower it will be. BUT as long as it keeps moving down, I'm happy with my pace. Nothing but a blessing!! PLUS off all meds. I'm a happy camper ))))

    New person welcome?

Just remember everyone's body is different. You will read what everyone's doing and different styles of advice. BUT you need to do what our doctor tells you to do. Stay positive and focused. That's my best advice.

Kelly! I know what you mean. I will be 5 weeks post op this coming Monday. I had to start using Metamucil, which hasn't helped. I don't even feel like I have to go. I'm 25 lbs down since surgery date and 40 since 2 week pre op diet. I know if I can just start releasing the excess..lol..things might be a little better and I won't feel so icky.

    In Less Than Twelve Hours....

Hi ladies! Good luck to the both of you tomorrow. Speedy recovery! One bit of advice. Everyone is different. Just keep positive and do what your doctor tells you to do. I was sleeved 11-18-13. Emotions up and down. Always second guessing to make sure I'm doing things right. My biggest advice. Put that scale away! Weigh 1 time a week!!! Eat slowwwwww. Drink slowwwww. Chew chew chew and sip sip sip. Stay positive!! I'm excited for you both ))

As far as the itching goes it happens because you are healing. I had my surgery on 11-18-13 and I've noticed over the last 10 days or so that I am itching near all my incision areas. It's happened with every surgery I've had. Down 38 lbs and that includes the 15 lb pre op diet. I have learned the scale is my enemy that I want to keep closer Can't stand it but I'm happy when my number continues to go down. But it's time to put away except on Mondays. Average daily intake is 500-550 calories. Been getting at least 60 protein with help of 2 shakes a day. Water about 40 oz but that doesn't include protein drink. 2 oz per meal. Starting to feel like I can eat a little more because I don't feel as full with 2 oz as I did a few weeks ago but I don't want to go beyond that right now. Hanging on my doctors orders. Been getting in the treadmill every other day over last few weeks. Taking my multi vitamins a few times a day. Calcium chews also. Plus a good probiotic. Still dealing with the big question. Am I ever going to poo again? I don't even feel like I have to. Is that normal? :/ Anyway, I wish everyone luck. We didn't get heavy in one day so be patient. Chins up

    Before and after pics

Awesome job! So happy for you. I am right where you were in April. I'm 3.5 weeks post op. 20 lbs so far. I had my doubts afterwards too but I think my health will be worth it. Again, congrats! You look beautiful!
