Anyone else always wonder what to say in introductions?? Well, I've been heavy most of my life. It crept up on me over time and now I feel like If I don't take drastic action, the quality of my life will severely decrease. I've known people who have had the bypass procedure, both smoothly and had terrible complications. My mom's Dr. office has a partnership with Griffin Hospital and they do a weight loss seminar. So I first met my surgeon there. I've started my process to get approvals. After Jan 16 2014 Ill will be 90 days into to, well, a new lifestyle. I've been advised to try and lose some weight, this makes the surgeon's job a little easier. And I'm told it shows the insurance company I can follow through and get into shape (vs round).
