Nausea and vomiting real bad
-
I had my sleeve on 3-19-15 . the second I was out of the hospital I was super sick. I try to keep fluid down as well as most of my protein shakes . the nausea and vomiting come at random times, and every day. I just was hospitalized for being so sick and was released yesterday but again today I am so sick! It has been a lot to handle and scary. The good thing is I have no leaks but this sickness I feel is just to much! Anyone else experience this? What helped? What did you do? Please any advice or info would help greatly! Thank you.

I am doing better, I have a ercp procedure coming up to hopefully help with my liver and pancreas ,I have been in the hospital 9 times in the last month. Hopefully this is the last step, I'm having trouble with acid reflux now (at least I think that's what it is) so I'm being very careful of things I eat. I have lost a lot of muscle mass to from living in the hospital, I am now trying to regain strength and hopefully return to work soon I've been so sick I haven't been able to work but now that things are looking up I'm going they stay looking up Hoping they*

Getting sick and the picc line
MindySue replied to MindySue's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
No I was on liquids for 2 weeks then he wanted me to try eggs but I can't handle any of it. So after several hospital stays I got the picc line to help with nutrition. Now I've been not eating or really drinking anything . I'm so afraid to keep getting sick. It's like I end up thinking I might be OK then the next thing I know im more sick then before. -
Hi, I am a little over 3 weeks post op and I was wondering how many people have experience what I am. As of right now I'm feeling down and hopeless, I don't know what to do anymore about getting better. Ever since surgery I have been having a lot of nausea and even vomiting. I am following the doctors directions and chewing food very thoroughly but even so I get sick. I have slow movement from my esophagus to my stomach and that doesn't help but only make things worse. I have gotten to the point that I have a "picc" line to help with nutrition . I just really want to feel better and am wondering how much longer it will last. any advice or kind words would help

Thank you! I believe in the strength of prayer so I appreciate that very much. I haven't really been eating at all. Anything, even broth I throw up even water. I'm hoping that soon this goes away. -
I had the gastric sleeve done on 3-19-15 so far so good. Since having the surgery I've been having trouble with vomiting and nausea I actually just got out of the hospital yesterday because of it. Has anyone else experienced this? It just come randomly. I would love any advice or thoughts. Thank you so much!

Thank you for the advice! I've been defiantly getting high protein recipes and getting some good ideas for low fat and carb good as well. Today was a better day I wasnt as sick but I am having trouble staying hydrated so I've been trying to push fluids (sipping) as much as I can

Yeah I have tried the patches, zofran, and phangren (s/p?) Nothing seems to stay down long enough to work or it just doesn't work. I'm hoping that soon it will go away, this being sick thing is really exhausting
