4 weeks out and getting hungry..

A couple of things from an old timer (surgery in 2002): 1. Most people feel no restriction from the get-go. 2. Restriction can vanish overnight. 3. Restriction comes and goes depending on things like where you are in your menstrual cycle. 4. It's completely normal to get hungry at this stage. 5. You are in the beginning of this journey. Later this annoying, frustrating beginning part will seem so far away. But for now, it sucks. As time goes by it will get less frustrating. Take care.

Wow! I attacked you? Funny, I didn't use profanity or tell you where to go or insult you personally in any way. Merely expressing an opinion you don't want to hear is not an attack. But if it makes you feel better to be mad at me, rather than consider that I might have a valid point, so be it. And, by the way, I am a new user. Please let me know if new users are not allowed.

    A feeling of Fullness

I finally got good restriction and it's not pain I feel but a fullness or even a heaviness in my throat. If I am conscientious I can feel it before any PB will come on. Before I had good restriction, I would eat often until the point of pain because I guess the satisfied feeling was so much more subtle.

    Discouraged

You could lose that much on Weight Watchers (and keep it off)-if you have a band with good restriction. Good restriction is the key that lets us be able to eat in a balanced way. It's so much different that "dieting" without the band. Stop telling your friends. They don't seem to get it.

32???? I can't believe you are considering the band. It is actual surgery and I think these docs are right to reject someone so light. When my BMI was 32, I only wanted to lose about 30 more pounds. Surgery is NOT the answer for someone with such a small BMI. By the way, I had a BMI of 47 and was self-pay in Mexico.
