I'm 7 days post op, and like you say, things get better every day, i've lost 13lbs so far, but can't feel it clothes wise yet as i'm still very bloated from surgery, hoping to make some potato & veg Soup later from the liquid stage thread, i'll let you know how it goes. Toots2,

Hey Missy, Sorry you're feeling poorly i was banded on the 5th, and had my first smoothie today, this may not have anything to do with yoghurt, i beleive we can sometimes get this a few days after surgery, due to the drugs we're administered, sorry i can't be more help. Feel good soon. toots2 xx

hello fatwillgo!!! have had half a shake today & half a can of ww mushroom soup, it was lush!!!!, still drinking plenty, and about to go for a little walk.

What you are both feeling is quite normal, like fairydust said you really don't know much about the operation, i am 4 days post op, and yes it has not been plain sailing for me, due to becoming dehydrated and not keeping on top of my pain meds, i had to be re-addmitted, but this was down to me getting things right, feeling much better than i did and on the road to recovery, plus i'm 11lbs down already, that has to be a bonus, haha! take care Toots2.x

Hi everyone, well i'm finally banded, had a bit of a rough time & had to be re-addmitted, for dehydration, and not keeping on top of my pain meds, anyway 4 days post op, and feeling much better, + 11lbs down already, know this is not about weight loss at the moment, and is a time for getting better, but thought i'd hop on the scales this morning anyway!! wishing you all the very best. welcome to LBT chattykat. take a look in the monthly support groups (main forum) all of the people getting banded in september are there. toots :biggrin1:
