I met my husband online going on 11 years ago, we are going on 7 years being married, with 2 kids and we are as happy as ever.

I live on the Lean Cuisine and Weight watcher meals that are what they call "carb conscious" and high in protein, Thats my lunch every day, It keeps me eating healthy, when the middle of the day used to be my (eat anything and everything time) I no longer do that, an 7 - 8 oz micro meal fills me up and I'm good till dinner.

Hi, I am another very happy Abkin patient, you may have heard me speak at one of the new patient seminars, I also co-moderate the support group which is the 2nd Wednesday of the month, this month on the 8th 7 pm at their offices in florham park. I have lost 124 since April 18, 2005. So I am proof it can happen, although a loss of 1/2 lb to 2 lbs a week is what is expected from the band it doesn't always happen that way. Everyone looses at their own rate.

Thanks for that information, I just called my Dr this past week because of a similar pain, We think it may be related to my new increased workout schedule, but if it doesn't subside by Wednesday I am going for an ultrasound as well.

I'd say wait it out, take a walk (always helps me when something is suck) it will either come up or go on down. If it doesn't pass after a half hour, try a sip of Water see if that helps it. -
I too got sick of eggs so now I only have them once or twice a week. I also have protein bars, cottage cheese, Fat Free greek yogurt with sugar free jam in it, Tuna salad, Chicken Salad, I have even had lean cuisine meals for breakfast. Anything to break up the monotony.

I thought with my weight loss that I would have cellulite showing up because the fat wasnt there to fill out my skin anymore however I have been blessed with good genes I guess and have nice smooth legs with no cellulite, the boobs however have reduced from a 46 DD to a 38 C, they need support... underwires etc. I dont know if they drooped because of just the weight loss or the weight loss in connection with me nursing 2 little ones when they were babies.

I started at 353 and I am now down to 233 in 10 1/2 months. 120 lbs gone.

Teresa Sorry I don't keep track of my meals. I dont count calories or fat either, I just make sure I get in 60 - 80 grams of Protein a day. some of my regular meals include I do eat greek fat free yogurt for Breakfast 13 g protein 3 oz tuna for lunch with small cucumber and ranch dip 20 g protein Lots or lean cuisine and weight watcher meals, especially the ones with low carbs and high protein. other than that I eat whatever I feel like. It seems to be working and I don't feel deprived at all. I also don't have a reguar workout schedule.. If I did I would have lost more by now.

Yep 120 since April, Normally I have amazing amounts of energy, Just got no sleep last night, My 2 yr old was sick.....

I agree with you 100% the Dr's deserve respect, you dont have to agree with them but treat them with kindness. They don't need to be here, but to those who are I appreciate them and their advice/medical knowledge.
