Big Day Tomorrow 12-11 And I Feeling In The Dumps

Happy that I have made it this far in 4 months..lost 58 pounds befor surgery. Someone close to me said YOU DONT EVEN DESERVE TO HAVE THE SURGERY. What if their right, I don't. I let this happen to me no one else. I was so happy last couple of days. Now I am so sad that I am questioning everything -
Rny dec 11th and I do good with most food. It seems like pork goes right threw me, oatmeal sits to heavy on my pouch but all in all I feel good on the food part. I do have trouble drinking liquids, I believe its from taking to big of sips. I take a sip and it is followed up with a tightness in my chest. Is this a sign of to big a sip?

I am new to the post op side of this forum. I have read a lot of the threads. I am so scared to eat hardly anything because of the dumping and not knowing what to expect of my pouch feeling full. I just want to know if some people could post their stories of dumping and over eating. -

I got both and really can't tell difference. They are the easiest thing for me to eat. I was worried about adding beans to an already gas filled mid section but taking my gas x really not made a big difference -

Buff all I can say is ues the iv pain meds and walk walk walk. Also get boxes of gas x strips you will need them. Good luck and welcome to the losers bench -

Yes straight out of can and nuke them for a minute. I put a little cheese and mild sauce on and its really good. -

I did have a scrambled egg today with white milk gravey and it was the bomb. So dang good, only ate the one but it sure satisfied -

I do refried beans, cottage cheese, soups but like you nothing yet has knocked my socks off -
I am doing better with the meds. They told me to stop metformin and celexa. Now I just got to work on bp and I hope I get off it soon. I have been taking children's benadryl to help sleep. I don't regret it cause way I was going was terrible so even all this learning the new ways is better than my old ways

God yes I have gas bad and still quite abit of left side pain. And the liquids got old real fast. I get them all in but it is a struggle everyday. I even added sf popsicle and cream of chicken soup to help

Went to doc today.....and since my journey began August 1st I am down 67 pounds, and 11 pounds since my surgery December 11th. I made it to the 3's and I am so happy. Cant wait to hit the 100 pound lost mark.

Ijackie I slept in chair first night home. Then I moved to bed. I have not slept all night since surgery because I sleep on stomach too. I can sleep on right side but my left side is still hurts and my RNY surgery was Dec 11th. All I can tell you is take your meds, sip sip sip liquids and most of all do your walking -
Tomorrow is day 7 of the liquid diet. I need help, I am having a super tough time not going nuts. I would like some suggestions as some liquids I could try.....help please

I have a major pain on left side below rib cage. I had my surgery December 11th and its the only pain I have left. It husts to breath in deep or to lay still very long. Any body got any ideas. From my six holes and one inch and a half hole only the three holes on left below ribs are the ones that are sore and have bruising around them.

Thank you Trucker. It is the only part that is sore. I was just making sure its normal to be the only sore spot/side l have left. I tell you I be so glad to hit the purade part of this, this ol boy is having a hard time with just the liquid part.

Greenize I had mine December 11 also. My pain has really passed the last couple of days. Now my only pain is upper left side below ribs. But all in all I feel great, hope all our December people feel great -

I am 3 days post op and I can't wait to start seeing what this pouch is all about. Not being able to use it is like having a new car but can't drive it. This liquid diet I don't mind but I can't wait to start learning the new me

I am on liquid phase..water,bariatric advantage banana mixed with 1 percent milk. And a v8 juice a day
