I have lost 37#s since my surgery on 12/20/13. I am feeling great, have had no dumping at all. I have pretty much stuck to my 2 week post surgery diet, i did have a scrambled egg & 1 piece of toast this morning and had no problem eating it & I felt full after I ate!!! I meet with my Surgeon on Monday for my 2 week appt. Hope everyone had a great New Year!

Everything is fine now, I havnt had anymore sign's of blood since the 2nd day after surgery. Thanks for your concernes!

Thank you for the info. My doctor actually called me yesterday(Sunday) to check on me! He told me to wait a couple of days and if it still was red to come back in but this morning all was well and normall!!!'n

It is blood red and no it does not look like coffee grounds. It has me worried!

I am three days out of surgery and all of my poop has blood in it! I called my Doctor and he told me to wait a few more days and if it has not gotten any better to come back and see him. Has anyone else had this problem?

Anyone have blood on their stool?

Glad u made it ok Bobby! Im on day 7 of my two week pre diet and I'm doing pretty good on it. C'mon December people lets all do this together and get healthy!!!!

My Dr. Put me on Carnation Breakfast Essentials (sugar free) for my two week pre-op diet. 5 a day mixed with water except the one befor bed is with skim milk. They are not very tasty at all but I am now on day 6 and I seem to be doing ok.

I'm on day 4 of my pre-op RNY diet and my headaches finally went away! I am on carnation instant breakfast (no sugar added) 5 shakes a day all mixed with water except for the last one which I mix with skim milk! I can also have SF jello & popsickles.
