    December Surgeries!?!?!?

I'm new here and have been going through this process since February of this year. After years of battling numerous health issue, including Diabetes, Hypertension, Severe Asthma among others...my primary Dr had begun talking to me about surgical options. After a lot of thought and consideration I made the decision in May to proceed with a Roux en Y procedure. The insurance company had extensive requirements and after 6 months of their programs, I received my approval 2 weeks ago!!!! My surgery is setup for December 26th (Merry Christmas) and the surgeon is requiring a 3 week liquid diet. I am 1 week into the liquid diet and I feel HORRIBLE! My daily intake consists of a protein shake for breakfast, a sugar free greek yogurt for snack, a cup of soup for lunch, a sugar free pudding for afternoon snack and a bowl of cream of wheat for dinner==800 calories/day. I have 2 weeks of this to go yet...does it get easier? Does the body adjust? I have lost 11 pounds in the last 6 days which is exciting...but hard earned. I know I can do this...but does it get easier?
