[color=rgb(102,51,204)]About a month after we moved I stepped of a step wrong and fractured my ankle and had a very bad sprain. That laid me up for quiet a while....I had a soft cast, then hard, then back to the soft. About the time I was finally able to get around better I got sick.....Dr's couldn't really find out what was wrong but between the 2 I was laid up for about 10 months.[/color]
[color=rgb(102,51,204)]I gained a lot of weight....to my highest....240. [/color]
[color=rgb(102,51,204)]Luckily our insurance here covered most of the cost of Weight Loss Surgery....so I looked into it.[/color]
Decided on the by-pass to help. Scheduled for surgery on Sept 27,2013. But the Dr. couldn't do the by-pass without risk to my health so he did the sleeve.
I believe it's what I'm suppose to have...but it hasn't been easy.
It caused a lot of trauma in my abdomen. He worked for an hour to free my colon....and that caused me to fill with a lot of fluid. I gained 14lbs right after surgery....that was a bummer.
It took 2 full weeks before that came out.....
The whole time I was sick, back and forth to the Dr. office. He ordered a C.T. scan that didn't show anything.
Things have calmed down some but I still can't eat much...I get nauseated almost every time I eat. So hoping things will calm down even more as time goes on.
I am loosing inches, down about 45lbs.....since this started.....but it's coming off slower than I would like it to especially since I'm not eating much of anything...but that could be the problem. It seems if I eat something that I shouldn't then I loose pounds....I think I'm just not getting enough in to not be in starvation mode....
Hope things change soon....
