I had gastric bypass Dec 19, 2012. I started out at 335 pounds. I now weight 175 and am still losing. My indigestion went away. I haven't had any problems besides belly button hernia surgery six months ago. I knew I would need this surgery after I lost weight. I have no regrets. And am very happy with my decision. However I do not get dumping syndrome. Which I thought I would eat bad things since I didn't dump, but I don't. Its a mind set to do right. Loving my new life!

Yea how did you get that approved? I've list 130 and know I need one. -
Where is your pain? My worst part was the gases in my system. Have you talk to your doctor?

Its normal to have some bad days. Wondering if you are going to succeed or not. Also buyers remorse about the surgery is typical. But give it time. Once you get a few months out and can exercise and eat, life will get better. I'm a year out this month and have list 130 pounds. The incentive is buying new clothes and having confidence. I am amazed how happy I am and how great I feel. Lean on people for support. Its important. Hang in there and know that it will all get easier.

Congratulations!!! You didn't have alot to lose did you? I'm 6 pounds away from wonderland and am a year out this month. -
Good luck on your journeys!! I will be 1 year out Dec. 18th. I have done well with no regrets. I've lost around 130 pounds. Don't exercise until your doctor says. It was about 3 weeks for me. My life has changed so much. You are going to love how you feel. When you aren't losing the pounds it seems like you're listing inches. Be patient because there are times you will be frustrated. Also never compare with others. I will admit its hard not to. Have a wonderful day!!
