Just licking the seasoning, what harm can that do? My doc assistant called to check on me & laugh when I told her. Im not chewing or swallowing the skin or bacon jut the juice.

Im doing great still no pain & I actually layed on my stomach by mistake & didn't feel any pain. Im doing so well im getting afraid that when I start to eat is when im going to have issues ughhh. I was sent home from the hospital the day after surgery. Im not hungry but I want to eat. Yesterday & this morning I sucked on a piece of bacon and felt like I ate it mmmmm. This evening hubby came home with the skin from the spanish rotisserie chicken (he dont eat the skin)& boy oh boy I sucked the seasoning of that skin and felt content mmmmmmm. I was able to get in 12oz of Protein shake & about 4oz of Water. I had to add sugerfree kool aide to the water. I dont no what happened I used to love water.

I only watch stuff I DVR so I can fast forward through the commercial's lol. Im just sucking on things. Hubby had some spanish rotisserie chicken the other day & he doesn't eat the skin, I sucked all the seasoning off the darn thing and I was find. Another day he left a piece of bacon on the stock, I sucked all the flavoring out of that. And yesterday he made Tina fish, I ran my finger around the inside of the bowl and licked that lmbo. Im fine if I just taste it. Lol

You are doing great. Im 5 days out, what I wouldn't do for some of that cheese off that pizza LOL.

How did your surgery go? I got switched again to 3/27, I am now sleeved. 5 days out going great. No pain or gas from day 1, was up walking a hour after surgery in the recovery room. Was sent home the day after surgery because everything went well. Tell me anout you.

Woohoo that is awesome, I am also 5 1. I started at 219, surgery day I was 208 & today 5 days out im 200. I want that size 8 sooooo bad lol. What size are you aiming for.

U got this, everyone is different but i was sent home the day after surgery because everything went well. I was even up walking in the recovery room a hour after surgery. Give it to God and leave it there. Keep the faith u will be just fine.

So looking forward to solid food lol. Until then I guess I will keep sucking the flavor out of food my family leaves around lol

Im 4 days out. I was told to stay on Protein shakes for 2 weeks then start soft puree foods. I think it to soon. Did you try it? How did you feel?

My insurance denied my surgery the first time have the doc office submit a appeal to the state.
