Hi! I'm Bobbi and this is my welcome post on this site. I found this site while researching gastric sleeve as a surgical option to aid in my weightloss endeavor. As to where I am in my weight loss story? Fat. No, I'm not being mean to myself, it's just the truth. I have been chubby my entire adult life. I was an athlete in high school and always active, until I got hurt at 16 playing basketball and needed surgery. From that point on, the pounds packed on. Fast forward to 17 years later, and I'm at my heaviest. Have I tried to lose weight? Of course. Was I successful at it? Once or twice. Do I sabotage myself? Absolutely! Do I need to do something about it? You betcha! So I have started my journey to, hopefully, a better me.
