In the beginning it was alot of Protein shakes but as time when on I puréed chicken and tuna added cheese! Ate a lot of refried Beans and string cheese....each week gets easier trust me! I also have to eat gluten free so it made my diet that much harder -
I'd be curious on other people's replies to this as well

I would say no only by what my doctors phases were! I wasn't able to have peanut butter until the 4th week! I'd check with your doctor as I am the type that has followed every order and didn't cheat! Are you on liquids? I had sugar free Popsicles to crave my sweet tooth! It does get better.... I'm almost 3 months post op and down 64lbs I wish you the best of luck! -

Yes, I was there as many of us were but when you wake up its a feeling of a new you about to happen! Your life will forever change and you have to look to long term! I'm 10 weeks post op...down 64lbs and 4 clothes sizes plus off my blood pressure, diabetic and asthma meds! I feel so much better and admire my new looks everyday in the mirror! You will do just fine and best of luck to you and your new journey! It's awesome! The only advice I can say is walk, walk, walk (especially first week) and take your vitamins! -
I had my Sleeve done on Oct 7, 2013 and this last week I've experienced some bad emotions that has effected my daily living! I'm very angry, can cry at the drop of a hat and just not liking these feelings to the point it scares me! Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do? Is this a side effect to the surgery? Any input would be truly appreciated!!!

voutman replied to voutman's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Not having any food issues .... It's just I'm so angry, snap at times, cry at the drop of the hat and just hating myself! I don't like it and wondered if it was related to the surgery or if anyone else experienced these feelings! -
