Hi everyone I am 10days post op and even tho my body is pretty tender still I think I have healed up pretty fast internally. My doc and dietician said that my post op diet should look like this- Week 1: thin nutritious liquid Week 2: thicker nutritious liquid Week 3: mushy food like baby food, mash potato Week 4: blended down normal food. I'm 10 days post op and in the 2nd week and am able to tolerate quite a bit of mashed potato etc. Is this too soon? Am I doing any damage!? I don't feel sick just hungry!! And I'm killing to try something more substantial. My dietician said that in week 3 if I want to try take a bite of something I should try it. But am so concerned that I'm ahead of the diet plan that I may be doing damage. Any advice???????????? I've emailed my dietician but she is on holiday leave!! Thanks Lani

Hi everyone I was banded 3 days ago and I have been really dizzy and nauseous. I told the surgeon this as I think it's the anesthetic that does it to me. I am worried I could have done damage? How do I know if my port is still in position and hasn't moved? I have been lifting my 4mnth old baby - who the surgeon said would be ok to lift- and am now doubting things. Any body in a similar position??

Thanks everyone:) I called the surgeons office yesterday and asked if there was anything I could take for the nausea. The admin said I would only be able to hear back from him today about noon. I feel a lot better then I did yesterday.... But now I am paranoid that I have done internal damage. I Only vomited once. And not again. It was soooo painful. But am worried I have made the band slip. Am I just being paranoid? How do I know if I have done any damage. Did any of you feel hungry in your first week?? I feel hungry. Does this mean the band has slipped? Sorryyyyyy I just want to feel reassured. The surgeons office said I wouldn't have done anything from once off but if any of you who have been through it could reassure me that would be great. Hope you all are going well too. Xxx

Hi everyone I'm scheduled to be banded in 14 days. I'm just about to start the pre-op diet..... It scares me a lil. I have a 4mth old baby... I'm worried I won't be able to care for him post-op. Any thoughts or advice out there??? Cheers xx
