I am an outlier. I went home the same day. Had to argue with the physician about this but the nurse practitioner was okay with it. Glad I did. I had no problems.

Date night with my husband used to surround food and cocktails. Last night we went to the movies but we were talking about what to do after the movie. We couldn't figure out what to do that didn't surround food or cocktails so we went home. Any thoughts?

It went well. I was surprised how much he liked painting pottery. We made wine goblets.

Well, I really didn't think it was dehydration but I am sure another 16oz of fluids won't hurt me.

8 weeks out and tolerating hot sauce and salsa no problem.

Since surgery, I have had 3 glasses of wine and one shot of whiskey on the rocks. I was a big beer drinker before surgery.

My husband is the only one who knows about my surgery. I had dinner with some of my friends last night. They were discussing how they need to lose weight (I was unusually quiet). My one friend said well I am just going to have gastric surgery and take the easy way out and the other said yes! And that is why only my husband knows.

Well I planned a surprise date night for Saturday. We start with a couples massage. We move to dinner (where I plan to have chicken poblano soup) then end the night with making a pottery piece at Sunshine Glaze. Hope my husband likes it!

I am a nurse with an up and down job like you described. I went back to work in 10days. I did well except being a little fatigued. -
How much did you lose the first 3-4 months? I want to be out of the 200+ Club by summer.

I have been on this forum for about 3 months. I continue to be flabbergasted at the level of negativity and know it alls (who are giving bad information). I am 8 weeks postop and doing well. I guess it it time to leave bariatricpal. -

I am 7 weeks out and have had a total of 3 small glasses of wine (on 3 separate occasions). I didn't feel the effects and it actually didn't taste good which is probably a good thing!????

Muscle milk light (20g) and pro (40g) are both good. I get light at Costcos.

We all lose differently. I am 7 weeks out and down 27lbs. Focus on water and protein.

As a nurse, I have seen many patients. That bruise is not normal. And I didn't have any bruising. -
