64 years old.. 4 grown kids and 10 Grandkids! Retired and decided after many health issues ( GERD that was untreatable and damaging my lungs, diabetes type 1 and triple heart bypass) I had to learn and turn my care inward!! Don't we hide behind that shield of caretakers?
9 days ago my life changed... My insulin is now at 20 units instead of 350! My weight is down 18 #'s and my GERD IS almost gone ( had a chronic cough)....WOW.. Not to old to change...!
Had another procedure while under.. Dr found a hernia in belly that a bowel could of looped through and repaired but I had a rough first 7 days but once I could add a few real foods like eggs, yogurt and cottage cheese I am feeling great! No pain meds after day 4.... " keep on taking that first step each morning huh?
