My Endocrinoligist said it should help,but if not there are other ways like metformin medication . hopefully the surgery itself will.. 3 months put nd nothing yet. sorry.

My mom was so against it. i haven't seen her since my surgery. in Dec.. it hurts but we are taking care of us.good luck with ur sis! hope things get better .

Then take a family portrait (been shopping for frames already ) Play basketball,baseball See the ocean for the first time.wear a cute suit the Doc i work for said when i reach goal she'll buy me that artic jacket I've been wanting !!yay! She keeps say "u need new clothes lets go shopping " lol.. i keep saying not yet.

I had it 1 month out it was delicious .just chewed nd chewed a lot. ate slow to make sure it agreeded with my stomach.

Hi DeAnna, My surgery was Dec16th13.i had lost 15 lbs before surgery then i was 3weeks post op nd lost 18 lbs then the forth week past nd nothing ,i started getting fustrated myself .my Dr. kept saying my body is still healing nd its going to take time. yesterday i weighed myself same exact weight . i got down. then i weighed myself this morning nd i lost 3lbs from yesterday morning . so i was very happy. but this forum will tell us don't go by the weight go by our clothes nd our inches . did u measure urself before surgery i did. nd I'm getting smaller....even if the scale kept reading different . I'll say this.... this surgery is teaching patients ! congrats on ur surgery .

Hi everybody surg Dec 16TH 2013 Hw-261 Sw-246 Cw-228.4 Pre-opt- lost 15 lbs so I've lost 33lbs altogether. Losing slowly but at least its coming off. just reading here tells me it will come off. thx everyone .

I had back pain I'm 1month out has of tomorrow .. my back pain was bad because of my hiatal hernia. i just put hot blankets when in the hospital . then bought a heating pad for my back nd it helps a lot.

Bad things: brown urine had to sit in the er for 4hrs yesterday .with no clue why. 2.back pain .dr. says my hiatal hernia. 3.wks post op nd no energy. good things:losing weight quickly . need to go shopping .(when i get energy) Hubby always complimenting me. sorry everyone just feeling down. just thinking when will i feel better. i still don't regret my decision for the sleeve but i want to start enjoying everything about it!

I am a month late. but this sleeve is going to be such a blessing for me.my co-worker's hide food from me. i don't even like eating infront of people.my boss thinks she's helping me by saying that's to much temptation for her we need to move the snacks from her office . i go home crying sometimes. so I'm hoping things change for me like they did for u. congrats on the nomination !!

Same problem her two surgeries , i am 10 days out nd I had no energy, couldn't get out of bed so i starte drinking broth in the morning yesterday , then protein shake(muscle milk)(isopure) nd I've had emergy. hope its not temp. but i feel better . hope this helps. it gets better i feel no more pain in my chest (hh) ice chips from Sonic .

Hi everyone kinda. corny but im one week out , nd i. was standing at my linen closet nd my husband was behind me nd he said yummy ur butt is looking good honey. i got so embarrassed my cheeks got red, but it felt good..lol

Just had surgery on Monday nd can't sleep either .

@Kindle, thank you i think like that from now on... @nesa83,i too make my own broths i put skinless boneless chicken in a crock pot with veggies ,then add chiken broth i buy in a can with chopped green chili (i live in NM) nd i just eat the broth my husband eats everything else. mmm good... if no time the heart healthy cambells.were almost there every one..i got so nervous thinking about last night. @magtart yummy !! My nutritionist said i shouldn't do puddings to stick to Sf Jello. nd sf popscicles but in winter brrrr! Ur Soup ideas sound delicious ,I'm going to try that! Thank you.
