I'm about 4 1/2 weeks post op & on a full liquid/ very soft food diet & this is a recipe my Nut gave me along with others. I just had it tonight & it tasted great, of course I couldn't even get down a 1/2 cup but enjoyed it so I thought I'd share this. The only thing I added was black pepper & some shredded Parmesan cheese on top. 3/4 cup low fat cottage cheese 1/4 cup spaghetti sauce 1/4 tsp basil 1/4 tsp oregano 2 egg whites (egg whites should be used in recipes only-not to be eaten individually Mix together. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes until warm & egg whites are warm. Enjoy!!!

Please advice needed surgery and adoption. ..
Kaysp replied to msjoy83's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I would get thru the adoption, as has been said there could b some minor comps & that may make it hard to give the baby the attention he/she needs & you will want to give! Congrats! -
Great, it helps when we can eat something we like And something our sleeve likes also. Good luck on your journey!

I started trying to eat salad at 6 wks per drs program & didn't have any problems. I love sautéed zucchini & summer yellow squash with fresh mushrooms & my sleeve likes them too! But....always follow your plan. Good luck!

Stalled..So frustrating
Kaysp replied to fortmac1982's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was sleeved on Dec 16th & stalled between week 1 & 2, then I have been on a 3 wk stall between week 2 & 1/2 & wks 5. & 1/2. Just stayed on program & dropped 3-4 lbs today. I will say that during all this time I was losing major inches & dropping clothes sizes!! Hang in there, I'm glad I did. -
4 weeks out & I've hit the dreaded stalls!
Kaysp posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was sleeved on Dec 16, & have hit 2 stalls. The first one was between week 1 & 2, then I lost about 5 pounds by 2 1/2 wks. Now I'm at 4 1/2 wks & haven't dropped anything.bive gone down 2 jean sizes but can't get the scale to move. I'm staying on plan, getting my liquids in & close on the protein. I'm feeling a little defeated because the scale won't move & I don't know why. I'm not getting all the exercise I should because we have about 4 ft of snow but do get on the tread climber for short periods. HELP!!!!! -

It's rough & I feel the same way some days but I just keep plugging away & some days r easier than others. I'm definitely not perfect but I just keep working at it because the reward of weight loss, staying hydrated & taking care of the new tummy r worth it. Good luck , you're on your way!

Can't do this anymore
Kaysp replied to Amanda Nicole Hosaflook's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My Dr. Said the water is the most important , u can live w/o food but u have to have water. I agree that I wouldn't worry about vitamins as they pump u so full of vitamins during the surgery that most don't start them till about 2 weeks out. But if in doubt always check with your Dr. Hang in there, it's rough at first but it definitely gets better & then you'll b so happy with your new tummy. Good luck! -
Blenders? Are they all the same?
Kaysp replied to UNbLIVable's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I got a Vitamix for Xmas & love it. One of the nice things is u can make ice cream out of your protein shakes. I also have a nutri bullet but like the other better, just sayin' -
Over 3 weeks and still on purée.

Sandisleeve: I also tried the Isopure drinks & almost vomited. I took them all back to GNC including the one I opened! Ugh! The thought of them makes me ill. -
I am 3 weeks out & loved Crystal Light prior to surgery & immediately after but now anything that is sweet tastes terrible to me.

I just ordered the Fitbit One, can't wait to get it. It has great reviews but it's not worn like a watch. Will let u know how I like it after I use it a while. That being said, my husband got a LifeTrak C410 & loves it.
