dlm59, I don't know sometimes after surgery, your taste buds can change, I used to love chocolate pudding n yesterday, when I try it, it taste horrible to me, yuck!! I will try again sometime next week. The miralax powder is working, I started Wed until Sat..I pour an 17 grams of Miramax onto an 18 ounce Water cup, im going to stopped now for a few days, cuz I don't want to get diarrhea, sorry tmi, lol n I want to go easy on my new stomach Thanks for the congrats, my husband was happy too lol

Ohh too fluffy, thanks, I guess one once of super thin mashed potatoes, wont do a lot, but at least it will trick myself, that ate something, im not super starving but just want to taste something a little different. Cutie Miss...im a bit hungry too, please know that you are not alone, we all going thru this.. I think im going to try 2 spoons of mashed potatoes.

How about oatmeal? No potatoes for this week... Im also onto 2 weeks of liquids...

Guys can I have blended boiled potatoes w. A bit of salt.?? I have been having apple sauce, same consistency almost.

Somehoweregimen, Imo I will call the surgeon, and tell him whats happening, meanwhile sipping all day long is great to keep you hydrated n also ask your Dr. if you can add Miralax to the water you sipping, so in 2 or 3 days you can have a bm...I started doing that yesterday, since this Sunday coming up is going to be a week for me too without a bm, but again ask your Dr. before starting.

Thank you, hazeleyes...im sipping a lot but is like I don't know when is too much, or when im full, n I couldn't finish my protein shake this morning, im trying it again now.

Thank you for the well wishes..the hospital stay was like a 75 % good...but when I compared myself to be alive n moving n feeling a lot better, then that 25% dissapears lol It was a 2 night stay ....no nausea, no dizziness, but excruciating pain for the next 24 hours following the Surgery, due to wrong pain medication n pee on myself like 7 times while I was in the recovery room....but hey again im so thankful to my Lord Jesus, to give me the opportunity to have this Surgery n help me thru every pain, thru every tear.. Even with everything that I went thru I dont regret this Surgery at all...and im so happy, right now I feel like 10 garbage truck hit me, all at once, but all is good because im home with God hubby

I dont know mamato2 ....like hazeleyeflgal said everything hurts except my abdoment, that is really weird, cuz even my eyelashes hurt lol but not my belly... My esophagus was hurting me a lot, like bubbles, gurgling, thight chest, compressed air feeling n not letting the liquid pass down...they gave me some mylanta n im much better now....and about food am not that hungry at all....well my husband just made the best refried beans ever, they smell so good...but I just had some spoon of pineapple jello. Hope you feel better hun!

Im glad you guys are okay n doing better... I had surgery 1/13/14 im still at the hospital n about to get discharged yayyy im finally going homeee!!! Feeling a lot better Thank to God. I will post details later on.
