The pain is gone now. I think I really just had a catch in my side but I was not sure. Thanks for the advice.

I had my first fill today. I have pain up toward the top of my right side. I feels like when you get a catch. Is this from the fill as well or just a coincidence?

I had the problem with chewing gum. When you chew gum it can cause you to get air in your stomach which in turn can cause you to feel bloated and have gas pains. I tried about a week after surgery and this is what happened to me. I hurt for about two hours because I got too much air in my stomach.

I was banded last Tuesday and was also nervous. So far I have not had any problems. Good luck tomorrow.

I had surgery yesterday and so far I have been able to sleep on my bed . I have to lay on my right side which is the most comfortable. You definitely need to get Gas x. It helps. I have not tried heating pad @ do you just lay the heating pad on top of your belly? Does this help with the Pain also.

Well I made it through. I am in a little pain and a little gas but I keep moving.I am having problems getting in all my protein but getting most of it. So far I actually don't feel too bad.

@@nerms Pre-op diet was not too bad. The first few days were the worst. After the second day I told my husband and son they were going to have to cook their own dinner. My son decided to eat Soup with me so I would not feel so bad. He can be sweet when he wants. LOL After about day 6 I was able to start cooking for them again. I did lose 11 pounds. Tomorrow is the big day. Excited and nervous at the same time. I will try to give you all an update at least by Wednesday evening. I don't have to be there until noon. Was hoping for earlier but all well. I hope everyone that had them today did well.

My surgery is outpatient. I have lost 11 pounds so far on pre-op diet. I will know tomorrow what time I need to be there. I am hoping for early morning because my husband has work that night. I am hoping we get home early enough so he can rest a little before going to work. I am really starting to get nervous not because of what I am having done just that it is surgery in general. I drink the different nectars. I don't think they are too bad.

I am about sick of Protein shakes too. I can eat a can of Progresso Light soup once a day. I can't believe I get so excited for the soup. LOL I just keep thinking about my long term goal and feeling better.

I have been dreading the weekend as well. I have really been cleaning though. LOL I guess I will atleast have a clean house. I just try to keep busy. @@LeosWifey hang in there you can do this.

I like that idea, Kristen. When I am at work it does not bother me much but the evening is terrible. I keep telling myself that it will get better. I am goind to start walking in the evening while my husband and son eat dinner.

My surgery is July 8th also. I guess we will bo doing it together. Day three of Pre op diet is ok. I am not to bad during the day when I am at work but I really struggle in the evening's. I told my husband and son they are going to have to cook their own dinner. It is just to tempting for me. I know it may sound kind of harsh but I need this for me.

I got my date. I get banded July 8th. I start preop diet tomorrow. I am really excited and a little nervous.

I finally got a surgery date. I will be banded on July 8. So now I am really nervous and excited at the same time. I have gotten so many good ideas from this site so I will continue to look to all of you for support.

I hope I can have mine done in July. I have went through everything and waiting on inusrance company for their pre authorization. I am ready.
