  4. I am so there!!! Everything I eat or drink sometimes gives me that stuck feeling. But then there are times when I can eat a horse with no problem. I know I shouldn't but I'm just thrilled that something is going down without pain. This pain free feeling is usually at night. In the morning or mid day food is hard to get down. Even my morning coffee is tough to get down. I've been at a stand still with my weight for a few months not gaining but not losing either. If any one has any suggestions of how to get over this please please give me some advise.
  5. I definitely won't miss: doing the two step while going up stairs not being able to paint my toe nails and not having the nail technician look at my feet like they were from another planet. Eating in my car not having energy being tired from taking a shower needing help to get out of the bath tub

    Lunch Ideas

At one of our support group meeting a woman there made a great suggestion that I've been doing to get my protein in. Along with my coffee in the morning I use ff milk maybe 2 ounce and a serving size scoop of protein shake powder (vanilla 25g) added to my coffee, stir well and pop in the microwave a few seconds. It just like a latte! excellent!!. I brand of protein is low calorie and it taste great!! I still have breakfast of either yogurt with a strawberry and a little granola. I'm full for quiet some time.

    Reality is setting it!

Kim, The reasons for considering surgery are become healthier. Avoiding diseases associated with being overweight, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease. It's so important to keep the important things always before you. As for me I had surgery 6 weeks ago. And I had the same thoughts but the good out weighs the bad in the long run. Right before my surgery I was diagnosed with diabetes. Hopefully this will cure it completely that is my prayer. Quality of life is what is important for me and possibly the same is true for you.
