I am taking Trace mineral, doc said it was needed, for the hair loss.....its been working fine, its liquid, and tasteless....Thanks for responding.

I had my surgery on 4/21/05, I am down 42 pounds, but when I went to the doctor 4 weeks ago, he told me, I was right on task, at 2-3 pounds per week.... He told me not to come back for 6 weeks,unless something was wrong. I really havent been following a healthy diet. I have been off for the summer, and just eating like its ok....but never gaining. I'm glad everyone is doing well.....lets keep this going.. Hugggss

My hair is still falling out, Does anyone know what I can do, or take.... My doctor says dont worry about it, but its not is hair, so he doesnt have to be concerned... Someone please tell me,what I can take....I am freakin out. Thanks

thank you everyone for the input, I am gonna drink 3 shakes a day, to be sure I get enough protein, because I really dont eat enough to get it....thanks again....

I am married again...I have 2 grown sons, and my 15 year old neice lives with me. I love baseball ......GO YANKEES.....I don't watch much tv, and I am employed full time, as a Teacher Assistant in middle school. We have a dog Bear, who is my baby, and 2 - 80 gallon salt Water tanks with beautiful fishies....

Hi, I was banded on 4/21/05, I don't keep track of my Protein intake, but I drink shakes, have eggs, tuna and such......I am taking extra Calcium, and Biotin, as well a multi Vitamins. I can't for the life of me figure out what to do next.....I have been having hair loss for about 1 month, I lose what seems like goobs when I shower. Thanks for any info you have. I'm not sure if I am in the right thread, but I have a question, and hopefully someone will tell me, if I should get a fill. I had a fill 2 weeks ago, and felt no restriction at all. I got my period today, and everything I tried to eat, seemed to get stuck. It was discomfort, not pain,but then, I had lots of slime. Is it possible for the band to tighten up after 2 weeks? I am suppose to go to the doctor first thing in the morning, but was wondering if I should cancel. Any ideas??

Hi Everyone, I was banded on April 21st,05. As of today, I have lost 30 pounds.... I havent really been eating healthy, but I do eat a whole lot less. I have had 3 fills, 1cc,.25cc,and .50cc, and am going for a 4th fill on 7/22. Everyone is doing so well, I don't know why, but I can't get motivated to exercise. I am off work for the summer, which makes it easier for me to exercise, as well as eat.... :-( Anyone have hairloss? I am big time, and I am flipping out over it. I spoke with my doctor, he says I needed to take Calcium, I am taking that as well as Biotin....any suggestions? I'm depressed. Huggggs e1

I was banded on 4/21, I started out really great, now I am so not motivated, I don't know where to start. I have been eating all the wrong foods, chips, nachos, and salsa, even chinese food. I have had 2 fills, the last was on Friday 6/24,and still no restriction. I am so depressed....I wonder if I am a failure with this too. I don't want to get out of bed in the morning.....does anyone have any ideas, short of a good kick in the ass?

Thank you for replying, today was a better day, altho I hope tomorrow gets even better then today. I have alot of stress going on right now, and I have always been an emotional eater ( or is that just an excuse) My mom is in the hopital, with heart failure....this all came on suddenly.... I've asked God to give me strength to get through this, and I am sure I will with his help. Again, thank everyone for your support. Hugs, and God Bless.

Hiya Angel, I was banded on April 21st,05. I have lost 21 pounds since then.... I got my first fill on June 10th,and I have no restriction whatsoever. I am not sure if I should go back for anther or wait abit to see if it gets tighter in time. I can eat anythng I choose, but I just keep it to smaller portions. I don't have much energy either. I havent been exercising either....I kinda feel like I am in a funk... Oh well....things can only get better....right?

Hey Porcl, Sorry to hear about your discomfort. You are already filled to 2.5cc? I went for my first fill on Friday, and only have 1cc. I don't feel any restriction tho. I am wondering if I should call the doctor and see if I can get an addtional fill. This weather is killing me.....plus, I have a sinus infestion, as well as a chest cold. We don't have any A/C in our school, so I sweat like a pig, then cool off with a small desk fan....I cant wait to be done.... TTYS

Awwww Eileen, I am sorry to hear you are having problems. I went to the Dr. on Friday, and I requested the doctor, not the PA. I don't feel any restriction as of yet, but as I read here....it sometimes takes up to a week. Were you at support last week? There were so many people there...I don't recall seeing you... Cheer up.....the DR. will get you straight.... Hugs
