Yeah my surgeon says to stay away from Jamba cause they are loaded with sugar.

Man I wanted something smooth too but was so afraid to put anything in me I hear you! I have learned a smoothie is my "go to food", I haven't gotten sick from them "yet", and I hope it stays that way! My mind is so ready to eat soft foods, my stomach is the exact opposite. I feel like it wants me on liquids forever lol. Fruit smoothies and yogurt (and my mind is so tired of yogurt haha). If I see another premier Protein shake its going to make an appearance too. I just finished the box.....I won't be buying another for a LONG time! Sorry you had to go through that, hopefully the next time won't be as memorable . Do you make them of get them from Kamba juice or something?

You can't make someone do something they don't want to do and you cannot change people. You may need to learn to pick your battles and accept the fact that he may not enjoy working out. I know he promised you and that is probably what is pissing you off. You guys just need to fun a common interest and run with that. You may be using him as your motivation to work out and have crated a dependency on him for your success.

Mont they have to shrink your liver to make the surgery easier. They actually lift the liver up to get to your stomach so by detoxing the liver it becomes smaller and easer to work with.

Well I got the results today from my biopsy that was taken during the endoscopy and all is well! I'm clear!! Thank god!! He said I have mild gastritis and it's nothing to worry about.

I was sore in my upper tummy after my endoscopy. How about you?

I came into this thinking the lap band was it. I loved that it was the least risky, less invasive and reversible because there was no cutting, stapling or re routing of the stomach. Then I started doing deep research and found that doctors are actually kind of steering away from lap band due to the high complication rate and rate of re surgery. So I asked myself... Do I have the time in my life to drive an hour and a half a month for fills? Do I want another surgery if something goes wrong? Will my insurance cover it or can I afford it? As far a the drastic part of it, well for me I need something drastic!! Something that was gonna actually work! Something that would get me to my goal and not just half way there. I have now been to countless support groups and seminars and nutrition classes and the sleeve is right for me. I have 100 lbs to loose and I don't have time to mess around with fills and crap. My problem is that my stomach is too big! Sooo, take 85% of it!! Please!!!!! lol! Whatever you choose you have to feel happy and content with your decision. Best of luck to you!!

Well good luck to you! How have you been doing? Were you in a lot of pain after surgery? Can you feel the soreness in your stomach where it has been but and stapled? I can feel the pain from the biopsy...

Sorry! I've convinced myself its not as bad as I'm making it out to be in my head. But being "hangry" makes everything seem 10 times worse than it is. Lol. Yes being hungry is the Pitts.. Story of my life! Lol!! Best of luck to you guys!
