All I am no longer an April sleeved I'm a May sleevers! I got my date!!! MAY 7th!!!!

Hello I'm Stephanie, a 35 year old wife of 13 years and mother of two amazingly gorgeous children. Mason is 11 and Stella is 4. I live in Northern California in the foothills near Sacramento. I work for the State and my husband and I own a Landscape Company. I have been a fat girl all my life. Born at almost 10 lbs. After I had my son at 23 I have really struggled with my weight. I used to weigh 118 my senior year of highschool but that was because of drugs. I have been creeping up the scales for years now regardless of my continued diet attempts. I have tried pills, drops, fads, gimmicks, whatever they have put out there I have tried em! I work out and nothing helps.. So I'm getting sleeved. At first I was set on the band but after researching it seemed the sleeve was right for me. However my doctor suggested I do RNY. I guess I need to think more on that... I have done all my preop BS and have gotten my approval and am just waiting for a date now.... My family is really supportive but I give them no choice lol. If anyone starts their negative talk (which is rare) I lash at them. My life my choice. Anyways I am terrified and excited for this journey and can't wait to get this weight off! I have high BP, high cholesterol, planters faciitis, back pain ect... In so ready to feel good!!!

How the hell do I sign up for a 2 day preop diet?!

I have notice on here the veterans are A Holes. You would think they would be happier. I guess they have more problems than just weight.

My paperwork was submitted this past Monday March 24th and I was approved Today!!!!!!!! Eff yeah!!!

Just called insurance and..... IM APPROVED!!!!!! Waiting for docs office to call and schedule me for surgery!!!!!

So were all on in the same boat! All waiting... Stuck here in the middle of the ocean with our anchor dropped. Not moving just bobbing around.....waiting.....and waiting...... HAHAHAHAHA!

The endoscopy Is a cakewalk. They sedate you and you pass out and wake up and it's over.

I loved that my breast milk smelled like maple syrup! Lol!!

I took fenugreek when I was nursing my babies cause it stimulated milk production. What do you want to take it for?

What's an EGD? An EGD is the same thing as an Endoscopy I believe. It is where they run a camera down your esophogus into the stomach. I think it is to check for ulcers and acid reflux damage?? Not 100% sure. Oh ok thanks! I had mine just never heard it called that.

LMFAO!!!!! The pooping out the staples thing was this reduce loud comment someone said when asked if the staples stay or get absorbed. Some chick said you poop them out. Lol!!!!! It's a running joke.
