  1. I was sleeved on the 16th by Dr. Maliapur at Huntsville hospital. Yesterday was by far the worst day yet. I can't seem to get this gas to leave my body and I've tried everything! Hope you all are doing well!

Def be up and moving. I'm up walking a lot too, not much gas pain at all. Just if I oversip liquid. Gas x dissolvable strips are awesome too! Hope you feel better soon!

  2. I got sleeved on tuesday 12/17 n just got home. Still very bloated n sore. My upper back is hurting I guess cause of hospital bed. I am doing clear liquids till Monday. R u guys taking any liquid pain medicine? I was feeling depressed n sad today just want to feel better soon.

I took my liquid pain med the day I came home and the next day. I vomited a lot and needed it after that. But I haven't needed any since very early yesterday morning. I've felt so tired and sluggish until I had some Powerade zero. It's been my absolute life saver! Got out of the house today and have felt better. Hope you feel better soon!

  3. Im doing good. I'm still trying to get down 64 ozs a day. I actually started full liquids before I left the hospital on Tuesday. Wednesday he let me start puree food. Im down 13 pounds since surgery but I can't tell where I'm losing it at.

Awesome! I'm starting full liquids on Saturday. I've found this Powerade zero has been my life saver. Feel soooo much better since drinking that. Are you feeling tired?

  4. So tomorrow is the big day and I know I'm ready but damn I wish this anxiety I have would take off! Not gonna lie, I did throw a going away party for my stomach last night. I wasn't on any pre op diet but today I'm instructed to drink liquids only, up till midnight and then nothing after that. So who else will be getting sleeved on the 18th? Besides chap stick, is there anything else that I need to remember to bring? I'll be all alone in this as my husband will be left caring for my daughter and I have chosen not to tell anyone else about the surgery. My husband will come visit me sometime after I get out of surgery. Would it be safe for me to bring my phone to the surgery? I don't want it to get stolen but how else can I call my husband once I'm awake?

You can put your cell in ur pants pocket inside ur belonging bag. They will keep ur items safe until moving to your new room. My lotion has been my friend. I was sooo dry from not eating or drinking, yes had I've fluids but not the same. My first day was a little rough. Good luck!

  5. Yes in not watching tv or if I do I walk out during commercials. I didn't know they have different kinds of broth like that I'm getting excited. I'm not as nervous as I was a few days ago. Have you had gas pains before? I haven't but everyone that I talk to say you can get them all over your body and it's painful.

I haven't had the gas pain but I've had patients who have. That's the part I'm dreading. I've already packed my gas x strips. Def take some of those. They are the bomb!! Lol. I'm now choking down mag citrate. YUCK. But I added sf fruit punch Water flavor packet to cherry med and is ALMOST tolerable.

  6. I have severe PCOS and this is what my surgeon recommend for me. We discussed my fears and goals. At the end this is what we both decided was good for me. Research success rates. I'm on this site per suggestion of my doc. He said best place to research is a forum. Internet is going to be biased. Good luck
