No diet Coke or seltzer?? Really?? Arrrggh.........
skurvymonster replied to sadie11's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I do not by any means advise you to go against doctors orders! but I can drink all the carbonated drinks I want. Only once I felt a little fuzz want to come back up, but I think I drank it a little too soon after eating. Don't get me wrong I might have one soda a week max. But I hear that everyone is different. So I was just giving you a soda drinkers P.O.V. -
I want to be a size 6 jeans. And since I'm pretty Top heavy having a 38DD Bra size would be great. I just want my back fat gone, and my thighs to look good in shorts. I always hid my weight pretty well. But just to not be lumpy is my ultimate goal. I could care less about the pounds or clothing size. But I won't complain if my clothes shrink. That reminds me I need to make an appointment for a fill.:tt1:

All sept banders are you up for a challenge?
skurvymonster replied to itstime's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hi everybody, I was banded Sept 8th a little sooner than expected. I wasn't on any pre diet so day 4 is a little rough because I actually feel hungry today. Overall this procedre was so different than I expected.First off my incisions are so small, and pretty much painless. The only thing thats bothering me now(and I'm wondering if it is normal) every now and then I get this bulid up of pain in my sternum area that basically feels like I'm swallowing my burps, man if that stopped I would be golden. Anyone else have that pain or should I be concerned? -
Scared to eat!
skurvymonster replied to MichelleA219's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was thinking of getting a really good food processor to take some pressure off of me when it comes to chewing. Has anybody else tried this out? I realize I hardly chew, and even pre-band I get things stuck! I'm in some trouble huh?:help: -

skurvymonster replied to Liz1531's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
Hello Everyone! I'm very new to this forum, but decieded to join today since I have a surgery day! I have read a ton of post and every question that has come to my mind has been answered here. So thank you for that. I'm going to T.J. as well to have my surgery, and I have a question. Christine yng talked about her doctor and nurses and it sounds just like my doctor, but his name is Carlos Gonzales de Cosio. Are you all talking about the same guy. I'm sure all of your Gonzalezes are great, I'm just wondering if I'm reading experiences from my docter or someone elses. I hope this wasn't a silly question.
