I love to go to Chico's because i can wear a size 2 there, lol. I also love to go into my fave consignment store. i had to stop shopping there for awhile, they only carry up to a size 14. now i can go there again. YAY for shopping!

Any chance this could be depression rearing its ugly head?

I had some nausea post op, and inhaling peppermint oil and drinking warm decaf lavender or peppermint tea really helped.

im 11 months out also. i log on mfp religiosly, stay below 1000 cals a day. dont exercise like i should. afraid ive reahed my "happy weight" and wont be able to lose more without some serious effort. but i feel complacent and pretty comfortable at this weight. size 14. 23 pounds to goal. ill bet that the increase in your exercise will get that scale moving again. Hang tough! we'll get there. How far away from goal are you?

I started taking my prilosec in capsule form at a week out.

I got a fit bit for Christmas last year, then i lost it i loved it. be careful, those are small litte buggers. i hope to get another soon. i miss it

i had hair loss at 4 months out. it lasted about 6 weeks, Are you more than 6 months post op? if not, i would wait for your hair's sake.

I didnt have a catheter. so, i was very happy to get up for a short time to use the bathroom a couple hours after surgery. after that i started my laps around the nurses station about every hour.

Are you allowed to have Clear Liquids? popsicles are life savers.

my first week was Clear Liquids and shakes week 2- full liquids week 3- soft week 4- start adding in regular food but check with your doc (CYA)

The gas pain that I experienced post op was from the CO2 they use in surgery. they pump up the abdomen with CO2 gas so they can see in there. they try to get the gas out, but sometimes a bubble will remain. it gets stuck up under the diaphram and causes referred shoulder pain. it gets reabsorbed. Nothing much helped except for a heating pad and walking...and time (about 2 days, for me) I had no porblems with intestinal gas, but if you do, lots of peeps swear by Gas-X strips.

I would totally call your doc ASAP. could be a vasovagal response post op, and needs to be treated. (search under vasovagal response after surgery). Be okay.

Any fever? nausea or vomiting?

12 cups of fluids a day sounds like an awful lot. i shoot for 8 a day (and rarely get that much). im only required to get in 45 gms of Protein a day- much more realistic for me. myfitnesspal is a great program and app that will help you figure out serving sizes and nutritional content. check it out. its fun and motivating. do the tutorial- it really helps. you can make me be your first mfp friend--- kimberly2222 Best of luck on your journey!
