Tink22-sleeve replied to Memily's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
how many ounces are you getting, do you think? Is your urine concentrated? Any dizziness? Try chewing on ice> Sonic has the BEST ice for chewing. trust me on this. Also, 44 ounces of ice equal 22 ounces of Fluid. Get someone to go to sonic for you -

I bet youre really losing inches. Are you monitoring your measurements? i find that to be very helpful. -
I am so thankful for the sleeve this year. Same time last year i was anxiously awaiting surgery. This year I am looking forward to a moderate Thanksgiving dinner, while enjoying friends and family.

Bile Vomit And In Bowel Movement
Tink22-sleeve replied to Gelica's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Gelica, i am so sorry youre having a rough go of this. It does get better--and soon. I understand the regrets you are having right now. But for today-- get yourself into see a doc. you need hydration probably. that alone will help you feels heaps better. Go today since the long weekend is coming and it will be a major pain to get seen before Monday. Dont wait that long to feel better. Take care of yourself. you have been on my mind. PM me if you want to. Hugs, tink -
First, can you take some tylenol for your headache? are you drinking enough fluids? Second here's some tips that helped me: sugar-free popsicles (a lot of them). Chew ice (Sonic has the best ice for chewing, lol) Get out of the house (go for a walk, do some Christmas shopping, go to the goodwill and get a goal outfit) Take a long bath. Talk to a friend on the phone for a long time. Meditate (if thats your thing) Decorate for Christmas (you wont feel like it after surgery) and sing along with Christmas music Start or pick back up a hobby (strum that old guitar, or get out that knitting) Hope some of these ideas help. You CAN get thru this!

I Did It, I Cheated... Help
Tink22-sleeve replied to linda305's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
In case you need encouragement: Come on, Linda305! You can do this! You can do ANYTHING for another week. Stay focused. Keep your eye on the prize. In case you need a stern talking to: Linda305! WTH are you doing? self-sabotage! Afraid of success, fear of losing food? Drink those shakes! Suck it up! Figure out why you are doing this BEFORE you have surgery. The food thing doesnt get much easier immediately post op. -
