Today I HAVE to go to the DMV and I am dreading it. It's the whole driver's license photo thing. I am at my heaviest right now and I don't want my picture taken today. In fact, I dont want any pictures taken of me, period. I want to wait until 1 year after surgery. Help! How do I work up the gumption to go do this? I have put this off for over a week and now my license has lapsed. This is getting serious!

Thanks for the good words. I will try to be more positive about it. Taking a friend is a great idea. Maybe my dad can go. Now, what do I do about the weight information? I thinking about lying about my weight by 20 lbs or more. -

I'm no expert, but I think it should be safe. People fly back from Mexico post-op everyday. They are like 4 days post op. Hope this helps to reassure you. -

I do worry about lifestyle changes. For example, my husband and I like to travel and i'm thinking about how that will be affected by these lifestyle changes. But i know that lots of things will change for the better- like tying my darn shoes with ease! Lol. Good luck with your surgery. -

Same with pre op. For example, some doc's want a 2 week pre-op diet, some 1 week, some even days. Differences like this could drive a person crazy. -
Maybe its you gall bladder. I would get it checked out ASAP. Good luck!
